Docile, friendly and old as the hills

On the farm, the calves are raised with their mothers and thus obtain their fresh and healthy milk. The animals are free and graze for five months of the year on the forest pastures and meadows. In the winter months they are provided with hay, organic grain and fresh water; we do not use concentrated feed. The bull (a very good-tempered young man!) stays with the cows for the entire year and keeps the herd calm. The cows produce up to 18 calves during the years. The specialities from the Zirmerhof's highland cattle inspire ecologically-minded connoisseurs.
